FILMMAKER’S “ENTER-TRAINING” VIDEOS KEEP THEM ENTERTAINED
WHILE THEY LEARN
DGA, TV & Film Director Jack M. Sell and his company, Sell Communications have developed a new form of sales training & promotional videos that are guaranteed to be watched by your targeted audience. His new patented technique is called "enter-training."
Sell’s work as a D.G.A. director, has provided him with a rich background
in directing feature films, including "the Psychotronic Man," for
the USA Network, "Outtakes," starring Forrest Tucker for Sony/Columbia
pictures
And "Deadly Spygames," starring Troy Donahue and Tippi Hedren for
Unicorn Home video. Sell has also produced hundreds of documentaries and television
commercials from Chicago to Los Angeles to Florida.
With this background in entertainment, he has created his new enter-training video programs that are custom written and produced for Fortune 500 companies & large firms that want their messages to hold the attention of their audience, are easy to understand and entertaining.
For instance, when Donald Rumsfield was running Searle in Chicago, he turned
to Sell to create a program showing sales people in the field how to better
market the sweetner "Equal". Sell and his business partner, Adrianne
Richmond-Sell produced and wrote the "James Bond" style Script. The
Spy who had no Equal” that had sales agents on the edge of their seats
throughout this 20 minute action-adventure. His approach? The Sell Communications
team looked at the demographics of the Searle sales force and figured out that
an action movie, shot just like a big budget feature film would keep their audience
attentive....and so, Sell incorporated a high speed car chase, a karate fight
up
in a hot air balloon and more..while our agent accumulated information about
Equal from the top secret food computer room of the competition! Sell even worked
in a black-tie dinner where the agent and his date, "Miss sweet & lovely"
are drinking coffee served with….you guessed it? Equal!
And, with the Equal sales force giving the movie 4 stars all over the country, enter-training was born.
Jack m. Sell & Adrianne Sell, also an assistant director with the DGA began production on yet another enter-training video for Stouffers. A spoof of "Entertainment Tonight," hosted by John 'Dish', the video shows how Stouffers foods should be sold and displayed in a deli department of big supermarkets across the country. Again, research by the Sell team found that most of the delis are run by young people and so, sell hired Los Angeles based look-a-likes to play the parts of Madonna (rapping about deligarnishes) Michael Jackson singing "clean it!" in front of a deli, complete with spotlight and dance moves…among others. The fast paced program kept his young viewers watching and entertained and has now became a favorite collectors item among young deli workers who kept the video. It was even packaged in a 4-color video box with photos of the stars and entitled the "Celebrity Deli" and looks like a movie you would rent at your local Blockbuster.
Sell communications moved its operations from Los Angeles to the Tampa Bay-
St. Petersburg, Florida area a few years ago so DGA Director Jack M.Sell &
DGA assistant director Adrianne Sell could work on ABC's "Second Noah"
and ABC Family channel's "The all new Captain Kangaroo Show." Sell
recently completed another enter-training video for Dean Foods entitled, "6-mintues."
And, yes, it has the stopwatch--a cast hat resembles the 60 Minute gang on CBS,
except they are interviewing food executives in an effort to "get the scoop"
on how best to sell and prepare deans pre-packaged products to large restaurant
chains. "6 Minutes" just received a national award from the advertising
industry's "Vision Awards."
This totals over 50 similar awards Sell Communications has received in the advertising and television industry, including a Clio nomination for Mr.Sell. Sell communications has produced over 200 television and radio spots & hundreds of video programs for most of the Fortune 500 companies around the globe.
